Town Hall of Talange

Full redesign of the municipal website for the town of Talange (Moselle, France) — built during a 9-week internship. WordPress theme written entirely from scratch (no page builder, no parent theme), with 13 custom post types, 60+ hand-coded PHP templates, custom hooks for performance and SEO. Hard-won numbers: TTFB from 1807 ms down to 88 ms (~20× faster), Lighthouse 100/100 on performance and SEO, RGAA accessibility 100/100 (text contrast 17:1, dynamic ARIA attributes, custom walker injecting aria-current="page"). Custom JSON-LD GovernmentOrganization injected via WordPress filter for Google Knowledge Panel. Hosted on o2switch.

Portfolio site for Jean-Claude Marchionni, NYC-area stone sculptor with 40+ years of practice — including work on the Portal of Paradise at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. Built from scratch in Astro with a typed sculpture content collection, JSON-LD structured data (Person + VisualArtwork) for Google Knowledge Panel, generated OG images per page, multi-image galleries for featured works, a Materials section detailing the four quarry origins, and a spam-protected Web3Forms contact form. Deployed on Cloudflare Pages, replacing a €180/year Bluehost setup with a free hosting + clean URL.

SEO work and front-end maintenance on the WordPress version of Puppy Corner, a dog daycare and dogwash business near Metz. Focused on search optimization, structured content and on-page improvements. The site has since been rebuilt as a static project — current live version is not my work.

Vacances Asie 2026

A full custom site to plan a three-week Asia trip (Malaysia, Singapore, Bali) with two friends. Hand-rolled PHP architecture with a single source-of-truth data file, password-protected accounts pages (custom auth with bcrypt, CSRF, lockout), an interactive D3.js + topojson map, a multi-currency expense tracker with live balance calculation, a service worker for offline-ready browsing, and an editorial design system (Fraunces + Inter).

Chef-d'œuvre · DEUST WMI

Static dossier site documenting my final-year internship at the Town Hall of Talange — built and shipped as the official end-of-degree deliverable for the DEUST Webmaster program at the University of Limoges. Three hand-coded pages (overview, kick-off report, final report) presenting the 9-week mission, methodology, technical choices behind the custom WordPress theme, and measurable results. Built without CMS or framework. Examiner verdict: "an example of what a DEUST WMI student can produce when they own their subject end-to-end" — Site graded 18.33/20, Kick-off report 18.67/20, Final report 20/20.

Graduated from the DEUST Webmaster program (Bac+2) at the University of Limoges in 2026, after a 9-week internship with the Town Hall of Talange. Open to freelance and contract work.
